Deep Trees didn’t grow overnight. Somewhere between an old keyboard, a shoebox full of lyrics, and a mild obsession with vintage reverb, the project took root in the daydreams of a misfit.

The curated musical project of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Summer Redko, Deep Trees explores the space between nostalgia and possibility, pairing melodic pop sensibilities with hazy textures, warm arrangements, and a little heartache. Grounded in a DIY approach, Redko writes and produces her own music, inviting collaborators into the process as each song finds its shape.

Redko also brings Deep Trees to the stage, with recurring performances at Luthier’s Co-op in Easthampton, Massachusetts, as well as appearances at local open mics and Singers Cafe at De La Luz Lounge in Holyoke.

Since 2025, Deep Trees has released three singles, with a fourth, “Better Weather,” arriving November 13, 2026. Blending ’70s soft-rock warmth with ’90s dream-pop shimmer, the song reflects on the gap between the future two people imagined together and the life they ultimately ended up living.

Described by Obscure Sound as “a memorable pop sound with a radiating sense of adoration,” Deep Trees pairs a cosmic yearning with a refusal to ever call a track “done.”
